Cole Benzing, CFP®, CPFA®
Wealth Advisor – Adara Wealth Management
Cole didn’t grow up dreaming about markets or balance sheets. What caught his attention wasn’t money itself... it was what money could do. It could build a life, protect a family, fund a dream, or create freedom. Somewhere along the way, that simple truth turned into a career.
He began that career at Fidelity Investments in 2017, where he spent nearly five years learning how people think about risk, opportunity, and time. He saw what made investors confident and what kept them up at night. He also saw how easily the human side of finance gets lost in translation. For Cole, that was the turning point. He joined Adara Wealth Management to build something more personal; a place where planning wasn’t about selling products but about helping people make decisions they could feel good about long after the meeting was over. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®, he brings equal parts strategy and empathy to every relationship. His approach is deliberate and deeply human: listen first, plan carefully, follow through.
Cole graduated from Hillsdale College with a degree in Financial Management, where he learned that critical thinking and character are worth more than credentials — though he earned those too. He believes good planning is about aligning money with meaning, and that the best financial outcomes are usually byproducts of good decisions made consistently over time.
He and his wife Kylie call Tucson home, along with their Pointador, Pete, who has never met a stranger. Their family is growing with one on the way. Outside the office, Cole pours his energy into community work that reflects his values of service, leadership, and gratitude.
He is an active member of the Arizona Blue Blazers, a network of Southern Arizona business and civic leaders who support the mission of the Arizona Bowl and work to strengthen the region through philanthropy, economic development, and community engagement. The Blue Blazers bring together individuals committed to making Tucson a place where both business and community can thrive—a mission that resonates deeply with Cole’s sense of purpose.
He also serves with the Empower Coalition, an organization dedicated to supporting veterans, military families, and first responders. Through fundraising, outreach, and mentorship programs, Empower provides tangible resources and hope to those who’ve sacrificed so much for others. For Cole, the work is personal—it’s a way to give back, to stand beside people who’ve carried heavy loads, and to ensure their contributions are never taken for granted.
When he’s not serving clients or the community, Cole is usually outdoors—running desert trails, hiking the Catalina Mountains, or chasing a golf ball under the wide Arizona sky. Every fall, he travels north to hunt with his grandpa, a tradition that has less to do with deer and more to do with family, gratitude, and perspective.
He often tells clients that money should be a tool, not a trophy. Used well, it builds lives that feel rich in all the ways that matter. That belief guides his work, his relationships, and the way he lives his life: steady, intentional, and grounded in gratitude.
